Volunteer

A little of your time could make a big difference to someone’s life.

We have volunteering opportunities available in most of our services. Our volunteers help and support people with learning disabilities in many different ways, contributing their skills, experiences, energy and enthusiasm. We carefully match their individual strengths and interests to the needs of the people we help.

In 2018, we supported 670 children, young people and adults with learning disabilities and their families and carers across Cambridgeshire. Volunteers are critical to the success of our charity with over 135 regular volunteers helping to deliver services, but we always need more!

Reema’s story

"Volunteering makes you appreciate everything you have and changes your outlook on life. It gives you a sense of purpose and enables you to give something back to society. But most importantly gives you a feeling which money could never buy."
