When you donate to Eddie’s you can rest assured that your money is going to change the lives of the people with learning disabilities who we support. 84p of every £1 donated to Eddie’s goes directly to delivering our services and changing people’s lives, the remaining 16p helps us find the next £1 and supports our essential running costs. You can support us with a one off payment or a monthly donation. If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick gift aid so you can make your gift worth 25% more. This means for every £20 you donate, Eddie’s can claim an extra £5 at no additional cost to you.

The impact you can make

Our Family Support Service and our Befriending Scheme have both been running for many years but are heavily reliant on fundraising. We always have families on our waiting lists. The more funding we get in, the more we can continue to grow the services and help more families.

£10 will allow us to recruit a new volunteer to help us deliver our services.

£20 could support a volunteer to take their befriendee tenpin bowling, to the cinema, out for a meal or to enjoy a football match.

£50 Can fund a Speech and Language Therapist to deliver a specialist session to children with Down’s Syndrome and their families.

£100 Would allow us to provide support to a family with a trained volunteer for a whole year!

Just giving

Make you donation go further with Gift Aid. For every £1 donated, The Edmund Trust gets an extra 25p from the government at no extra cost to you.
